State Rep. Wayne Waddell, R-Shreveport, introduced HCR 74 to suspend the collection of the Louisiana gas tax for the months of July, August and September. Perhaps Rep. Waddell feels our pain at the gas pump. Perhaps he is just pandering to the voters in his race for the Public Service Commission seat he seeks, just like Sen. Clinton and McCain have done in their race for the presidency.
