| Everyone can be a volunteer Mon, 28 Apr 2008 16:50:00 EST As we approach the 35th annual National Volunteer Week, which began Sunday and ends Saturday, Caddo Council on Aging Inc., Foster Grandparent Volunteer Program, Shreveport-Bossier, is recognizing volunteers who tirelessly share their time and talents with those in need. National Volunteer Week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek ways to engage in their community. It's about showing the nation that we meet our challenges not as isolated individuals but as members of a true community with all of us working together. |
